We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our ANZ Marketing Team as a Brand Manager, specialising in Beverages

This role will be primarily responsible for managing the bubly brand strategy, comm’s, innovation and investment to ensure a long term sustainable position in the Beverages Portfolio. You will also assist in scoping out Beverages category white space opportunities and assist the Franchise team in managing the Beverages portfolio in Fiji, Paupa New Guinea.

About the Role:

Drive Brand Growth for new brand ‘bubly’

  • Manage the BOY execution and comm’s plan for bubly including media investment, comm’s development and collaboration with bottling partner across BOY BTL activities.
  • Performance tracking: working with agencies and bottling partners to measure, optimise and report performance for bubly on a monthly basis

Innovation Strategy and Commercialisation for white space opportunities

  • Proactively identify, develop, prioritize product and packaging innovation to drive consumer-centric growth opportunities for the PepsiCo Beverage portfolio, both in new segments (where we do not currently play) as well as spaces we can stretch current brands, working closely with brand teams and insights manager throughout.
  • Lead strategy and commercialisation of identified NPD for both Australia and New Zealand, recommending price chain and P&L, launch model, A&M investment, manufacturing/packaging solution and optimal proposition (flavours, pack size etc), leveraging learnings from research.
  • Effectively engage, communicate and influence other critical functions (Sales, R&D, Operations and Finance) within PepsiCo Australia/Region and Bottlers to ensure alignment and flawless execution of all identified opportunities
  • Lead investment proposals via developing compelling Business/Brand Plan to gain Senior Management approval to invest in expenditure for the identified NPD, where applicable.

Agency / Supplier Management & OHS

  • Develop effective and integrated working relationship with all agencies involved on bubly brand (Packaging, Media, Creative, Digital, Experiential). Build strong working relationships with bottler teams to develop an aligned bubly TM plan, dealing with objections and gaining support for the plan.
  • Build strong working relationships with key Global team members, enabling flawless execution of initiatives.

About you:

  • Minimum 6 years sales / marketing experience, preferably within FMCG and/or Franchise environment.
  • Stakeholder engagement and alignment.
  • Demonstrated strong people management and team leadership, particularly ability to influence others to deliver key initiatives
  • Demonstrated proven strategic ability to lead complex cross functional projects is critical
  • Proven experience in delivering effective NPD
  • A&M management/accountability
