Job Description

IN THIS JOB YOU WILL

1.      Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.

2.      Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.

3.      Design and implement data models and transformations to support PowerBI visualizations.

4.      Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights for business decision-making.

5.      Optimize and troubleshoot existing PowerBI solutions to ensure performance and reliability.

6.      Create and maintain documentation for PowerBI reports, data models, and processes.

7.      Provide support to users on PowerBI usage and best practices.

8.      Stay updated with the latest PowerBI features and recommend improvements to existing solutions.

9.      Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate PowerBI with other data platforms and tools.

10.  Able to work individually.

11.  Creating and maintaining technical documentation (Design Document, Test Case Document, Deployment Document and Distribution Document)

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (computer science, Information Systems or any related field is preferable).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience with PowerBI development and administration.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse concepts.
  • Knowledge of DAX, M, and Power Query for data transformations and calculations.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with handling good amount of data.
  • Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements.
  • Strong English skillset in verbal/written is required.
  • Already practicing Agile or equivalent Project Management methodology
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Office Tools
  • Strong analytical Skills
  • Extensive understanding of DGF’s Product Operations lifecycles
  • Ability to consistently manage demanding internal and external senior stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar are a plus.
