Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote the school and its offerings, ensuring maximum visibility within the local community and among prospective students.
- Distribute marketing materials such as pamphlets, posters, and hoardings in strategically targeted areas to increase awareness of the school.
- Collaborate with the school’s management team to identify and pursue key marketing opportunities that align with the school’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage outdoor promotional activities (such as events, exhibitions, and local outreach programs) ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, demographics, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
- Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns, assessing their effectiveness, and providing regular feedback and recommendations for optimization.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, local businesses, and other stakeholders to support promotional efforts.
- Develop and maintain a calendar of promotional activities, ensuring that all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Assist in preparing marketing reports and presentations for management, showcasing campaign performance and ROI.
- Ensure consistency of the school’s brand and messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in marketing, public relations, or related field (experience in educational marketing is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Ability to independently plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns from start to finish.
- Knowledge of Bangalore’s local areas and demographics for effective distribution of marketing materials.
- Comfortable with outdoor activities, with a willingness to travel as required (travel expenses will be provided).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic marketing tools. Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must have a flexible, positive attitude and be willing to work outside regular office hours if required for specific promotional events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Previous experience working in the education sector or with educational institutions is highly desirable.
- Male candidates are preferred due to the nature of fieldwork and the requirement for on-the-ground presence.
