As part of the Payments team, Transaction Settlement Team owns payment and settlements for Amazon marketplace as well as Amazon India in a tightly regulated space.
The Job entails managing this process for billions of transactions and billions of dollors. The role will entail partnership with stakeholders including Country Managers, Legal, Technology, Internal / external auditors, Banks, etc. as required and will require becoming a subject matter expert in this space.

- Manage day to day operations of Nodal, Escrow and OPGSP accounts for Amazon Pay and Amazon Marketplace
- Daily reconciliation of accounts
- Monthly substantiation- Daily identification, deep dive, escalation and closure of exceptions by partnering with various world-wide teams
- Design and implement necessary controls to address SOX, operational risk and ensure ongoing testing of these controls
- Lead internal and external and regulatory audits of these accounts
- Advise business teams in launch of new products and capabilities w.r.t potential impact on these accounts
- Closely work with accounting and finance to ensure accurate representation in entity accounts
- Drive continuous improvement and autoimation
- Ensure ongoing compliance with guidelines and become backup of processes to ensure business continuity.
- Build a deep understanding of the process and amazon systems to help effectively troubleshoot

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
