Job Description

Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage insolvency cases from inception to completion
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks and adherence to regional practices
  • Liaise with clients and other stakeholders, to ensure all necessary information is received and communicated effectively.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with onshore teams involved in insolvency cases.
  • Monitor and control budgets, project plans and resources to ensure all work is completed to high standards, on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the work of the other team members, providing support and coaching when necessary.
  • Contribute to improving insolvency processes and procedures to maintain efficiency within the department.
  • Regular and proactive reporting to senior management on progress, problems, solutions, and key metrics.

  • Strong knowledge of insolvency laws, practices, and procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work with a diverse group of professionals.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of the key business drivers and potential risks involved in insolvency cases.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure, with a highly self-motivated, resilient and proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and proficient in utilizing financial software packages.
  • Possession of or working towards an Insolvency Practitioner’s License would be advantageous.


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Chartered Accountancy/ MBA in Finance from a premiere institute
  • Certified Insolvency Professional
  • 7+ years of PQE in:
  • Insolvency firms that specialize in providing services related to insolvency, bankruptcy, restructuring, and financial advisory
  • Management Consultancy firms and Big 4’s
  • Large Indian corporates with exposure in restructuring activities, analytics, and corporate finance role 
  • Exposure to IBC or equivalent code
