Job Responsibilities

• Overall accountability for the deployment and support of one or more business intelligence platforms
• Develops and maintains platform architecture in collaboration with the platform vendors, infrastructure architects, and stakeholders
• Serves as the technical lead for business intelligence platform implementation, upgrade, migration, and decommission projects
• Establishes platform system administrations process and best practices and works with the support organization to ensure appropriate support is provided
• Reviews vendor feature roadmaps, tracks business intelligence platform release plans and features, and advises management on upgrade planning and change management
• Plans and implements tools, utilities, and reports that help monitor the platform and continuously assess usage and issues
• Collaborates with dashboard and reporting key stakeholders and delivery leads
• Analyzes and solves platform optimization issues
• Prepares and delivers presentations to management that inform them of issues and opportunities with our business intelligence platforms and related technologies
• Provides expert level support for deployed solutions, interfacing with support staff and helping them to resolve issues within defined SLAs
  

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Experience demonstrating an increasing level of technical lead responsibility delivering and maintaining business intelligence platforms, preferably at the enterprise level.
• Must possess substantial hands-on experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting at least two distinct business intelligence platforms.
• Experience with Tibco Spotfire and Microsoft Power BI
