Job Description

  • Contribute and own activities within the HSSE Plans for each Asset
  • Contribute to Thorough Review and update of the Safety Case and COMAH
  • Support/participate in Incident Investigations as required
  • Provide support to the Asset in responding to technical queries from the HSE
  • Communicate high RAM Process Safety risks to Offshore Structures TA2 Leadership
  • Role model the leadership attributes (Authenticity, Growth, Collaboration, Performance)
  • Regular communication with offshore structures TA2 on asset integrity status
  • Undertake site visits as necessary to support management of integrity issues

Technical Assurance

  • TA2 Ownership of civil/structural Performance Standards
  • TA2 Approve of deviation from technical standards and performance standards via FSR
  • TA2 Responsible for the implementation of the Structural Integrity Management system including the inspection strategy, databases, and inspection plans
  • Manage the discipline related AMS deliverables & critical document updates
  • Be the responsible person for excavations
  • Provide LOLAR assurance to lifting and hoisting activities
  • Define, execute, and enforce the inspection plans. Review of inspection findings and initiate mitigation if required
  • Assist in achieving the global standard for deviation management
  • Provide assurance for DCAF discipline critical deliverables for modifications and projects associated with the Assets
  • Participate in technical reviews and audits as required Maintenance and Modifications Comply with the Management of Change Process (e-MOC)
  • Ensure compliance with Company/Industry Discipline Standards and Performance Standards
  • Demonstrate the condition of your Safety Critical Elements by integrity assurance activities
  • Manage the Z6 process. e.g Reviewing and approving updates to existing PMR's
  • Coordination of Structural Integrity reports and report out to the Asset
  • Ensure inspection and maintenance activities are performed in line with the Plan
  • Support Independent Competent Person in performing verification activities
  • Oversee the selection and design of appropriate structural modifications and repairs
  • Review and agree all major structural discipline related engineering scopes

Design & Operating Integrity

  • Meet Performance Standards requirements for the Operate phase
  • Assist offshore structures TA2 in ensuring an appropriate set of standards, procedures and guidance documents are in place and are being applied to manage structural integrity
  • Contribute to the Maintenance Reference Plan with scope/cost data for identified structural maintenance and repair activities
  • Monitor costs against agreed budget and review/approve invoices
  • Provide recommendations for structural MCDR’s
  • Execute Planned Maintenance and Optimisation process for your equipment and implement the output (analyse & improve the 5 year rolling plan)
  • Support site maintenance and inspection organisations in line AMS
  • Develop and review Civil/ Structural RBI for the facilities
  • Define yearly inspection scope for civil/structural equipment/assets
  • Review and provide recommendations for inspection findings
  • Assure effective execution of all technical integrity activities
  • Identify and lead significant risks through the MTO process and database
  • If appointed as a Risk Lead, take ownership of the risk status and mitigation plans (ensure risk information in MTO register is current and ensure transfer and consistency of data through execution channels (eMoC, MRP, CP, IAP, TAR etc)
  • Review and assess critical anomalies identified from inspections and ensure an appropriate risk rating is applied
  • Agree mitigation measures and remedial actions for critical anomalies and ensure any remedial/repair work is appropriately prioritised
  • Act as Contract User /Holder (where designated) for discipline related contracts, be familiar with the terms & conditions and scopes of works
  • Feedback performance to the Contract Holder

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree (min) in Civil or Offshore Engineering
  • Meeting the Civil competency requirements and TA 2
  • Substantial experience in asset integrity management
  • Innovation / Learning mindset - doing things differently (simplified, efficient worked practices) and/or new technology application
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management skills both internally and externally – ability to learn from and influence
  • Integration - willing to lead, integrate across functions and problem solve
  • Ability to take responsibility in an empowered organisation – taking charge and learn by doing and maximizing performance
