I am Tamiru from Ethiopia. I recieved my BSc in Agroforestry from Hawassa University and pursued my MSc in Natural Resource Management with a specialization in Forest and Nature Management from Jima University. I was employed at the Ethiopian Environment and Forestry Research Institute from 2016 to 2022, where my primary focus was on Ecosystem Management, specifically emphasizing Natural Forest, Aquatic, and Wetland Ecosystems. Throughout my tenure, I contributed extensively to Forest Resource Assessment, Restoration of Degraded Forests, Ecology, Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, Agroforestry, and GIS and Remote Sensing. Presently, I am enrolled in the ERASMUS MUNDUS MEDfOR Master Program at the University of Tuscia in Italy.
