Job Description

We are looking to bring on HR Business Partners who will directly partner with the Nike India Technology Centre function/domain leaders, their leadership & line managers on people-culture related matters. The Technology Centre is a global Engineering Centre which we will scale and enable in India.

The HRBP works with the HR Leader. Each HRBP works with the assigned technology domains, functions to land organizational priorities (planning and execution) across -

  • Capacity: Workforce-Headcount, Job Levels, Talent Attraction
  • Capability building: Talent Insights -Careers-Retention-Growth-Skilling
  • Employee experience and Engagement
  • Being Market relevant & Intelligent around pay, policies, programs and projects, as we scale and build the Centre

The HRBP should have high a reasonable appetite for ambiguity, as we build and scale local programs, leverage global practices and platforms. A problem solving mindset, an inherent passion to build an organization, focus on employee experience, bring deep expertise in 1-2 HR domains of Talent, OD, Rewards, Operations with relevant years in business facing/partnering work. This experience and expertise will enable us to build and strengthen our Technology Centre, our Talent and Employer Brand.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

HR Manager supports the HRBP Director & provides HR consultation, coaching & functional advice to drive business & people agenda through managers and as a partner. Includes shaping and execution of Employee Experience that resonates with the Brand, Performance Management - Coaching for Performance, Talent Planning (Career roadmaps - Skilling & Development planning, Landing Pay decisions & Benefits Programs, Organization change, teaming, and related programs) through managers.

Directly supports and partners with leadership minus 1-down & line managers on people-culture related matters. Works with the business population (all employees) assigned to, across technology domains, functions.

Identifies and solves for complex organizations programs based on organizational insights, mindful of people and financial impact.

Plans & Manages execution of key plans, programs, delivers through self, global HRBP/partners, HR Ops, Managers, in a multi-national, matrixed environment:

  • Optimize Resources: Capacity/Headcount planning and execution, balancing Employee impact and Organization direction
  • Build & grow best-in-class teams: Talent-Performance Mgmt., Rewards, Engagement insights, to be supported and enabled
  • Shape Culture: Through employee experience touchpoints that matter
  • Land & Manage Organization changes in a locally relevant way for the business and employees
  • Make decisions based on overarching Nike Inc & Tech vision, values, organization reputation, framed within plans, budgets
  • Derive insights: Is outside in & Inside Out on talent trends, using data & insights to dialogue for change/approvals
  • Result Oriented: Applies HR expertise to achieve HR priorities, people metrics, enables adoption of tools, systems
  • Point of contact for functional global HRBPs

REQUIRED:

An experienced HRBP with experience in managing HI-touch, growth-based organizations - demographics.

MBA in HR (relevant field) , with 10-15 years relevant HR experience in multicultural-matrixed organizations.

Experience with Workday® and having experienced HR Transformation in some form.

BREADTH: Proven ability to independently manage 100+ size business unit (highly skilled demographics). Leverage, develop & Implement, monitor HR programs, initiatives, systems, policies, and procedures while staying compliant

DEPTH: Min. 1-2 areas of deep expertise (Rewards or HR Transformation or Learning -Talent-OD, having spent 3+ years cultivating this depth)

CREDIBILITY: Proven ability to provide HR consulting & facilitation, building manager capability and gaining credibility with business leaders.

CHANGE AGILITY: Understand, remain current, embrace &drive change on the drivers to company performance. Have the resourcefulness to deliver results.

EXECUTION AGILITY: Eye for planning & details in execute HR strategies. Adjust HR execution plans, as needed, respond to changing business requirements.

RESULTS AGILITY: Working with multiple stakeholders/projects that have significant impact of people, function, organization

PEOPLE AGILITY: Navigates self well. Focused on the right results and builds credibility basis expertise, excellence and inclusion dynamics & effective relationships

COLLABORATIVE: Can and willing to contribute to the larger Organization, function, team deliverables. Comfortable with diverse opinions and styles at work.

OUTSIDE-IN: Networked in the broad HR community, can quickly access, spot and apply HR solutions based on market-place shifts. Is resourceful.

INSIGHTS DRIVEN: Understands business & talent drivers, comfortable with making sense of facts, numbers, build the right narrative to enable decision support

PROACATIVE: Consciously drives compliant behaviors while engaging with leaders, managers, employees, protecting and positively growing organization reputation
