The day-to-day

• Support & Enable Viasat partners on authorisations
• Customer Service: You will receive requests for Operations support including satellite Authorisations across multiple business sectors. You will have daily interactions with these customers and will be required to routinely provide clear, precise and supportive communications as you handle their requests.
• Manage the Authorization End & Renewal Process: The key purpose of the role is to manage the process of securing an authorisation for operating within India for our customers. This process also includes the ending of an authorisation by a customer and the renewal of one as well. This will require us to proactively engage with our customers to confirm their intentions and what they wish us to do next.
• Managing support requests: Act as a lead point of contact for the Viasat Business Development (BD), Account Management (AM) and global supporting functions on all matters related to successfully winning new business, successfully deploying our capabilities and operating Viasat services within India
• Provide support to the Viasat India Business Development (BD) team & end customers on operational issues.
• Support the Viasat India Account Management team with the investigation, analysis and resolution of billing & payment related issues
• Support the importation of equipment including shipping, custom clearance, etc where and when required

What you’ll need

• Customer Support: A proven track record of supporting international customers within a technology or telecommunications context.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaboration and partnering skills: Proven track record of partnering with, collaborating, influencing and effectively supporting customers and partnerships.
• Organisational Excellence: You will be detail-oriented, accurate and organised in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines within a fast-paced sales and support environment
• Creative and constructive thinker: Ability to articulate evidence-based conclusions and recommendations, challenge conventions and anticipate long-term impacts of decisions.
