Roles & Responsibilities -As a senior consultant, you will work as part of a team of problem
solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC professional
skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
1. You will be working across functional teams (internal and client), across the business
and power sector value chain, supporting the team in developing and delivering
operations strategies in the power sector.
2. You will be working on strategy & operation-related engagements. Having
understanding of operating model redesigning, business process re-engineering and
utility operations (specifically transmission utilities) is essential.
3.  You will be working on domestic or international engagements related to power
markets and power system operations.
4. Develop yourself personally, taking a keen interest in trends in energy and other sectors
and the impact on our clients so you can help shape their thinking and our success in the
market.
5. Prepare quality reports, presentations and other client deliverables.
6. Exposure to data gathering techniques and analysis, and reporting insights in a clear and
effective way is desirable (business planning).
7. Interact with business managers, technology experts and public policy officials.
8. Work effectively within project delivery teams and independently as needed.
9. Provide leadership and mentorship to analysts/associates.
 
Location: Kolkata
Candidates should be willing to travel widely across India and stay at client locations for
extended periods based on project requirements.
 
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. and MBA/PGDM
 
In addition to the above listed, we expect candidate to demonstrate the following skills:
1. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
2. Experience in creating models within Microsoft Excel
3. Experience in developing and delivering presentations
4. Excellence in visualizing data, synthesising insights and storytelling with data
5. A history of successful, creative problem-solving
6. Consulting experience
7. Sharp communication and fluency in English language
