Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders
- Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time
- Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles
- Removing Impediments: Identifying and removing obstacles that hinder the team's progress
- Promoting Agile Practices: Coaching the team on Agile principles and Scrum methodology, ensuring the team follows Scrum values, principles, and practices
- Ensuring Scrum Adherence: Guiding the team in adhering to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
- Facilitating Communication: Facilitating communication and information exchange between the Scrum team, product owner, and stakeholders
- Coaching and Mentoring: Coaching the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skills, and domain knowledge
- Continuous Improvement: Promoting continuous improvement and encouraging experimentation within the team.
- Conflict Resolution: Facilitating conflict resolution and decision-making within the team
- Working with the Product Owner: Collaborating with the product owner to ensure the product backlog is prioritized and well-groomed
- Protecting the Team: Shielding the team from external interruptions and distractions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experienced Scrum Master/IT professional, with proven track-record of senior stakeholder partnering
- Experience in broad people engagement - working with and influencing across all levels of management, building relationships and influence across teams and a wider community of other leaders.
- Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity by applying creativity and proactive problem solving
- Demonstrate experience of delivering projects of varying complexity and size
- A clear communicator with the ability to forge strong relationships with various teams across Technology
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve people & culture engagement
- Experience in overseeing and optimising further operational change would be preferred
- Demonstrate experience of collaborating with multiple delivery partners to successfully deliver outcomes
- Resilient approach to working, ability to challenge effectively across multiple groups
- Data management, analysis and presentation skills
- Solid experience in financial management and portfolio management
- Knowledge of HSBC business management processes desirable
- Excellent understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives
- Acts as a role model for HSBC’s values
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven fast learner
