Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Work as a data owner as key member of the primary research project team; understanding the project objective & hypothesis and provide inputs on survey designing, data collection methodology and questionnaire development during research design.
- Analyze survey data and correlation between survey responses and client engagement in a meaningful way so as to result in actionable insights. Utilize statistical and analytical techniques to dig deeper into the data and support quantitative models.
- Support with large-scale data collection efforts through administration of panel and client survey data. Ensure high quality, accurate data interpretation and representation in Gartner’s research content.
- Deliver all required results for projects in an agreed upon timeframe. These results may include any or all of the following:
- Tabulated data tables in Excel
- PowerPoint slide deck.
- Special tabulation or cross-tabulation requests which may involve the creation of new calculated variables
- Self-serve tool based of dashboarding tools (such as Power BI)
- Exploring and implementation of new tools and features to improve quality of deliverables and efficiency in the process.
Who you are:
- MBA or master’s degree in Economics / Statistics / other related fields with significant expertise in data analysis, quantitative research or Market research.
- 3-5 years of Market Research industry experience working with one or various data applications such as SPSS, Q, SAS, etc.
- Understanding and proficiency on data tables, graphs and charting techniques.
- Good understanding of data & statistical techniques, analytical mindset and ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly.
- Good understanding of Excel, PowerPoint & VBA.
