Core responsibilities

• Support large scale, data science projects that support key strategic priorities
• Support the development of first-class tools and insights for leadership by identifying key indicators of economic shifts, identifying business and/or policy changes, and preparing situational playbooks

·       Support the automation and streamlining of projects by using advanced analytic techniques

·       Understand fundamental procedures and processing to optimize data interactions and drive insights

·       Facilitate storyboarding by performing data-driven analysis to inform prospective recommendations

·       Work with cross-functional teams, including Deloitte’s businesses and Enabling Areas, to support key business functions

·       Provide ad-hoc specialized analyses and support for leadership meetings

Other responsibilities

• Support Lead Data Scientist by maintaining project plans and milestones
• Lay out the elements of a story using logical structuring and assist in developing presentation content

Qualifications

Required:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related subject

• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Data analysis, management, and visualization
  • Machine learning algorithms (e.g., clustering, logistic regression)
  • Artificial intelligence software (e.g., Dataiku, DataRobot)
  • Advanced in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Advanced understanding of data science and visualization tools (Python, R, SQL)

Preferred:

·       Advanced education degree a plus

• Experience in a professional services firm is a plus
