Support the Marketing Excellence (ME) Learning & Development (L&D) Champion in developing and implementing an annual L&D strategy, including related reporting and managing communications to ensure clear, consistent, and effective messaging.
Lead the ME Learning & Development (L&D) council, comprised of 20+ Senior Managers and Managers through monthly calls and manage the External Conference Reimbursement Program, promoting, tracking, and measuring its effectiveness while ensuring efficient budget management.
Work with the ME L&D Council to identify skill gaps and recommend timely, cost-effective, and creative solutions to leadership that enhance capabilities.
Create and manage marketing-specific learning programs, such as the Upskill ME series, and the Marketing Academy, and collaborate with the Deloitte Leadership & Human Potential team to promote training courses, coordinating delivery and attendance for both internal and external learning events.
Promote career mobility within Marketing Excellence by managing the Marketing Horizons program, which matches professionals with short-term project opportunities beyond their daily responsibilities.
Manage the ME onboarding process to engage and equip new hires and internal transfers, ensuring seamless integration and understanding.
Oversee ME’s internal career development platform, Career Central, and the Cura group page, including content strategy, postings, communications, and optimization efforts, ensuring efficient use of resources and budget.
Plan, develop, coordinate, and measure annual hybrid and virtual career development lunch and learns, focusing on cost-effective execution to enhance professional development.
Facilitate engagement with ME’s external associations by working with designated association owners to regularly promote and communicate professional development opportunities.
Support the ME Chief Talent Officer, Strategic Resource Management Leader, and Marketing Operations Lead with talent needs, ensuring alignment with resource allocation, budget, and strategic goals.
Manage the complete project lifecycle to refresh the job description repository and expectations framework on an adhoc basis.
Required Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience in Marketing, Talent, or project management
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline
Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm.
Strong English oral and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts.
Understanding of Agile methodology and experience in Workfront are preferred
