Job Description
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new network design, documentation and support, while maintaining and improving existing network infrastructure
- Support a highly available production data center hosting web-enabled applications across multiple data centers
- Recommend improvements and evaluate new technology to existing network infrastructures
Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams - Work with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structure
- Apply senior-level knowledge and experience to understand business challenges and opportunities and drive new and innovative approaches to network solutions
Works independently on complex projects
Role Requirements
- 3+ years in the administration and operation of enterprise-wide area and campus networks, including extensive experience with data centers, LAN, WAN, Network Security and VOIP applications
- Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude
- Experience in developing and implementing network solutions
- Knowledge of architecture design concepts, object-oriented design and techniques
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results
- Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with partners globally
Technical areas of expertise:
- Expertise in BIG-IP F5 LTM and GTM
- Expertise in Checkpoint and ASA firewalls
- Expertise in routing protocols, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP
- Experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center switches
- Experience working with SNMP, Radius and TACACS+
- Knowledge in Network Automation.
- Knowledge of QoS
- Knowledge of wireless technologies 802.11a/b/g/n, WPA2, WLC, WAP
- Knowledge of Public DNS
- Knowledge of AWS and GCP would be a plus point
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible and Python would be a plus point
