Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you will deliver software components for platforms/applications/solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating reasonable proficiency in software engineering in their relevant competence.The work model for the role is: #LinkedIn - onsiteThis role is contributing to the Smart Power division of Electrification business at Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:• Develop and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, using tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Grafana etc.• Collaborate with Agile Team & stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications for BI solutions.• Design and optimize data models and databases to support BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, presenting findings to stakeholders.• Follow the best practices for data governance, security, and compliance to ensure the integrity of BI solutions.• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of business intelligence.You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a basic understanding of SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
• Exposure to Machine Learning and AI libraries (including Deep Learning, NLP) is a plus.
