Responsibilities

·         Work with research analysts and senior management to develop, institute, and maintain models and automated data processes

·         Acquire, clean, maintain, and analyze data sets to support analyst models

·         Help develop scalable data infrastructure, including visualization platforms

·         Act as a Python expert within the department and create scalable Python libraries

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

·         2+ years’ experience with general-purpose programming in Python

·         2+ years’ experience cleaning data using the Pandas and NumPy packages

·         2+ years’ experience in a quantitative role, such as financial engineering or data science

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related fields

·         Experience with the request’s library

·         Demonstrated ability to QA and clean data

·         Familiarity with higher-order analysis techniques, such as regressions or ML

·         Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Experience with R, HTML, Java, MATLAB, Q, SQL, or Unix is a plus
