Job Description
Your tasks:
- Coordinate and execute a comprehensive range of RTR accounting activities in daily operations.
- Ensure the high-quality and timely delivery of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the supported group companies.
- Lead the implementation of central requirements for accounting, reporting and quality standards.
- Oversee the preparation of the financial statement (balance sheet / P&L and notes) according to IFRS.
- Conduct and enhance Internal controls procedures.
- Analyze and improve work processes, developing optimization measures to enhance efficiency and interface management.
- Facilitate effective communication with intercompany partners globally and resolve intercompany discrepancies.
- Review reconciliations are properly done and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Supporting activities in fixed asset accounting and petty cash.
- Analysis and follow-up on the closure of any open items and maintenance of the period end and year-end closing schedules for the entities/countries in scope.
- Report on team efficiency management to the Location Manager.
- Drive and participate in professional projects, including digitization and automation initiatives.
- SPOC for all RTR-related issues for DE & BP counterparts.
- Back-up & support team member as and when needed, showing monitoring abilities as well as management and motivation of the team members.
Management Responsibility
- Lead and manage the GL Accountant Team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Provide guidance and training to the General Ledger Accountant Team to ensure high performance and professional development.
Your profile:
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience/qualification. Professional Certification in Accounting/Finance is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS & Local GAAP)
Experience Level
- Minimum 5 years of RTR experience in a large MNC, with at least 2 years in supervisory or management role.
- Proficient in SAP S4/HANA. in-depth knowledge of IFRS.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights, are required.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn, especially in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork by actively engaging with team members, sharing knowledge, and providing support where necessary.
