Job Description

Manages beverage store including receiving and issuance of inventory

Maintains par stock level for beverage inventory and manage slow moving items

Perform month-end beverage inventory count at store and F&B outlets

Month-end closing of Check SCM system and roll forward to new period

Monitors food & beverage cost of sales including cost and consumption analysis reports

Reviews and ensures accuracy of menu costings and drives regular menu change

Updates, add and maintain menu items in Micros

Verifies price for all purchases and approve the purchase invoices in SCM system

Prepares assigned balance sheet account reconciliation

On-going monitoring of existing SOPs ensuring current processes is reliable and relevant. Demonstrate the quality of creativity, innovation and thinking outside the box in identifying process deficiencies/potential issues as well as designing of new procedures to address underlying issues. Implements Best Practices whenever possible

Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned

Actively supports superior to ensure queries and issues are addressed in a responsive manner

Identifies own training needs and develops training plans to ensure continuous development of required areas. Once the training needs identified and development plan established, monitor the development progress on a regular basis to minimize skills and abilities inadequacy in carrying out daily duties

A Assistant Manager Accounting (F&B- Cost Controller) serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • University Commerce Degree in Accounting and Management preferred.
  • At least 5 years of working experience as Financial Manager or higher position in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience in a managerial operational accounting role.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English to meet business needs.
  • Good relationship with the local bank and government agencies.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lead, to provide guidance and to develop team member.
  • Ability to train, motivate, evaluate, mentor and direct associates and managers to meet desired ends.
  • A resourceful individual who is creative and able to maintain flexibility.
