About the Role
As Associate business Manager, you will be a part of the Business Strategy Pod and will work on key central projects that aim to deliver high business impact. The role involves a mix of strategy, identification of new opportunities, and program management. You will strategize and scale Meesho by developing collaborations between your team and product, tech, fulfillment, as well as other categories in business. You will also present findings and updates to the CEO and other senior leaders on a regular basis. Making impacts with data-backed innovative solutions is key to success in this role.
What you will do
- Business Strategy and program management :
- Develop an understanding of key business problems and strategic priorities to provide insights on gaps and potential opportunities
- Drive end-to-end problem identification and solutions/execution to deliver impact
- Define goals against key metrics and track performance against them, manage end-to-end execution across functions
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to achieve targets
- Problem Solving and analysis :
- Work on special time-bound initiatives, requiring strong first principle thinking and domain/ functional understanding
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, conduct root cause analyses for key business metrics
- Conduct data analysis/impact of different initiatives on key business metrics (e.g. NMV, orders per DAU, etc.) and synthesize findings with implications that inform business decisions
- Stakeholder management and communication :
- Communicate and advocate insights to relevant stakeholders to drive outcomes
- Frequent updates to leadership communicating business performance across different projects to facilitate discussions and track progress
- Coordinate with the respective stakeholders/cross-functional teams – e.g. Product, category marketing, business finance, etc for monthly/weekly reviews
What you will need
- MBA Graduate/ B.Tech Graduate
- 1-3 years of work experience having worked with a brand or in a role handling brand key accounts
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
- Experience with startups is an added advantage
- Strong bias for action and a track record of delivering impactful results
- Demonstrated quick career progression within or across companies
- Ability to think from first principles and solve complex business problems
- Proficiency in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights and drive decisions
- Experience in scaling processes and driving business growth
- Experience with startups is an added advantage
