What You Will Do

• Work closely with stakeholders to determine application requirements, perform analysis to create statement of work and provide time estimates.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, React, HTML and CSS.

• Integrate front-end and back-end components to create seamless, end-to-end web applications.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and fixing application issues.

• Prepare required documentation for application support.

Your Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a related position

• Proficient in Javascript, HTML, and CSS, especially with the following frameworks: React, Redux, JQuery, NodeJS, and all the underlying dependencies (babel, webpack, express, etc.)

• Can write code that is ESLint-compliant and cross-browser compatible

• High level of proficiency in a version control system, preferably Git and Github

• Initiative to propose and create appropriate solutions for changing situations

• Willingness to learn new technologies and new ways of approaching projects

• Strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, organizational skills, and the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision

• Strong non-technical skills including, but not limited to, problem-solving, work prioritization, communication, self-direction, and time management

Your Design Technology Qualifications

Essential:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Able and willing to troubleshoot and maintain existing legacy applications built with jQuery and JavaScript.

Desirable:            

• JIRA

• Experience with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm).

• Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases.

• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
