Understand Network requirements and work with Product Managers & Architects to validate solutions for delivery
Support the delivery of new technology for the lifecycle management of the Network Product Towers (Passive, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Network Telecoms, Tooling and Network Security)
Validation of network standards and maximising the efficiency of delivering existing and new network capabilities across the organisation.
Proactive network planning to support technology delivery for projects run internally to the Network Product team where new technology is being introduced through life cycle management.
Support external technology vendors and internal developers to stand up ‘proof-of-concepts’ for various network technologies and support demonstrating their value to the business.
Engage with multiple stakeholders to build the specification of new technologies driving innovative work practices with our business.
Build on successful proof-of-concepts to develop and manage ‘live’ pilots which will see the integration of these technologies into our network estate. Scale successful pilots into the mainstream operations of our business
Supporting lifecycle management of network services including risks and issues. Initiating corrective action, recovery plans and intervention to achieve successful delivery of network services.
Work closely with domain Product Managers to remain aligned with current and evolving standards.
Manage stakeholders’ expectations in relation to deliverables and identify risks associated with any connectivity requests that do not align with existing standards.
Contribute to the network budgeting cycles & forecasting against the delivery. Support the identification and implementation of efficiency and cost saving initiatives.
Support beta testing of new products and features. Document and report problems and recommend solutions/improvements to program managers.
Actively support Live cycle management processes with respect to the renewal of services and introduction of new technologies.
