About The Role
- Building, Managing, Supporting & Monitoring all installed hardware systems and infrastructure
- Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining hardware management systems, operating system and container and virtualisation stack.
- Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Review and influence new and evolving design, architecture, standards, and methods for operating services and systems
- Participate in software and system performance analysis and tuning, service capacity planning and demand forecasting
- Manage the availability, scalability, security and performance of our platforms and applications.
Must Have
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
- Work experience of 2.5 - 5 years (excluding internship)
- Experience in System programming, tuning and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux Operating systems.
- Exposure to the administration and performance tuning of storage systems.
- Strong understanding of networking and packet tracing.
- Strong working knowledge in any of the system programming languages like Go, Java, C++ and solid scripting skills in Python/Bash.
- Ability to pick up new software, frameworks and APIs quickly
- Sharp and tenacious troubleshooting skills: you can fix anything.
Good To Have
- Experience with virtualisation or containerisation systems (OpenStack/Kubernetes).
- Experience with network attached storage systems (NVMeoF/iSCSI)
- Experience server and storage hardware platform management systems (BMC/IPMI/Redfish)
