What You Will You Do
- Responsible for growing the Sourcing & Seller Development function for certain Category/ Categories by identifying and growing Suppliers to meet Business Plans.
- Act as a specialist for his/her Categories - Market Intelligence, Data Analytics, Contract Management, Support for tools like eSourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management, and Procurement Master Data.
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency, at the same time develop alternate sources and risk mitigation strategies.
- Contract and price negotiations with suppliers and ensuring setup of contracts with the right checks and balances.
- Work closely with the category sell side team ensuring that required sales mix is maintained for the brands & categories you manage.
What You Will Need
- Proven experience (5-8 years) in Sourcing & Seller Management – Grocery Preferred
- Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management
- Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with on-ground team members
- Data-driven approach towards problems, attention to detail, and high commitment to timelines
