Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience creating content for technical audiences (e.g., developer documentation, Computer Science course material, or IT administration playbooks).
Preferred qualifications:
1 year of technical writing experience.
Understanding of Google style guidelines.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fluid environment.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Product Managers, and Engineering Leads to identify the critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers.
Write technical documentation for security analysts including new features, how-to guides, release notes and reference documents.
Rewrite and reorganize existing documentation to improve the customer experience.
Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others on the team to match the Google style guidelines.
Manage complex documentation projects, and take responsibility for the quality documentation.
