Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of smelter operations, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards
• Manage and optimize the CRO-FGD (Continuous Emissions Monitoring - Flue Gas Desulfurization) system to control emissions
• Lead a team of skilled professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve operational excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity and minimize environmental impact
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive initiatives for continuous improvement
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of operational performance
• Participate in the planning and execution of maintenance activities to uphold equipment reliability
• Contribute to the development of operational budgets and monitor expenditures
• Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and problem resolution

Qualifications

• 8-13 years of experience in the copper business industry
• Demonstrated expertise in smelter operations and emissions control
• Proven track record of leadership and project management
• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
