Job Description
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):
- Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge on Routing,
- Configuration and troubleshooting experience in Cisco network devices (Routers, Nexus switches & Core Layer 3 catalyst switches)
- Good Knowledge & troubleshooting experience in Cisco ASR & ISR routers
- Good Knowledge & troubleshooting experience in Cisco Nexus 9k switches.
- Configuration & troubleshooting knowledge in Fabric Extender Technology (FEX), virtual Port Channel (vPC), and Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN)
- Good Knowledge in DC Routing & Switching infrastructure
- Configuration & troubleshooting knowledge in BGP routing protocol (ASN, PBR, Route-reflectors, community, Tags & Attributes)
- Configuration & troubleshooting knowledge in EIGRP routing protocol (load balancing, topology & Metrics)
- Redistribution of routes between different routing protocols
- Good Knowledge in GRE VPN
- Good knowledge in IPSEC VPN (IKE V2)
- Good Knowledge in NAT configuration
- Good knowledge in Route-mapsACL & Prefix list
- Good Understanding of TCP/IP, Routing protocols,
- Good remote troubleshooting skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent listening skills & ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English
- Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 supports
- Strong team player with a constructive perspective and commitment to the success of the business
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities
- Read and reply to e-mails related to support of Incidents, Incident Tasks or requests sent to the team mailbox
- Be online and available during the shift to participate on Skype chats
