Job Description

  • To plan, organize and supervise operation and maintenance activities in the facility including Guest house.
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance schedules of both OEM and in-house is adhered.
  • Coordination with IFMS agencies to ensure meeting of SLAs wrt. to engineering operations in the facility
  • Coordination with CPO & SME for timely renewal of equipment AMCs timely and the other MEP POs
  • Coordination with vendors / IFMS team to in getting the quotes for R&M works, getting the approvals from the FMG (LH), raising purchase orders, planning and execution
  • Inventory and stores management: Track consumptions, maintain minimum re-order levels, raise indents and ensure upkeep of records
  • Budget planning and controlling
  • Coordination with CPDCL, GHMC, APPCB, EB, CEIG Fire and other statutory authorities as and when required.
  • Driving the IFMS teams to Identify and implementing ECMs, Risk Assessment & HIRA
  • Tracking energy, water &diesel trends and put up a comparative graph, review and implement suitable technology measures/Operational controls to control consumption.
  • Upkeep of site and records required for various audits (internal & external) such ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, GRI and other customer audits
  • Ensuring closure of all internal and external findings and sharing the evidence to EHS team
  • Identification and implementation EHSMPs
  • Monitoring of SLAs with IFMS agency
  • Coordinating for obtaining PESO & IGBC certificate, Annual Electrical inspections by concern departments
  • Meeting the customers for all their process requirements and events and FMG Feedbacks
  • Participation for the internal & External audits from FMG prospective
  • Working and exploring new ideas to get the target cost savings
  • Compliance to Statutory requirements and alignment to industry benchmark.
  • Pragati Initiatives and technical white paper preparation
  • Wipro commitment of Net Zero Greenhouse gas emission by 2040; Sustained Industry leadership on Eco initiatives.                                                                                       
  • Actively implement the 3Rs –Reduce/Recycle & Reuse to achieve mission of <5% waste going to land fill. Identify and ensure timely disposal of E-waste& Hazardous waste to authorized recyclers as and when required.
  • Review with IFMS team and ensure timely submission of all statutory forms to the CPCB/local PCB’s as required.
  • Ensure availability of services like Power, Ups power, water, HVAC systems to meet the business requirements consistently.
  • Review, compile, consolidate and send below reports to central team
    • Weekly reports
    • Monthly dashboards
    • Consumption reports
    • PPM reports
    • R&M cost report
    • Any other reports as and when asked for by the central team
  • Project management- Internal FMG projects- Timely identification and work out a plan for retro fitment of all EOL MEP equipment’s for a sustainable technology ,energy and water efficient projects and its successful implementation
  • Project management- Take up and execute projects meeting customer needs in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate with various internal customers to fulfil their facility related needs
  • RO plants , STP and WTP  Drive the IFMS teams for effective and  optimal operations and maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in facility management, engineering operations, and maintenance.
  • Experience gained in a large size campus of close to 2 - 3M square feet size 
  • Experience from IT or ITeS industry / company preferred 
  • Strong understanding of engineering operations, maintenance, and infrastructure life safety.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules for equipment.
  • Experience in budget planning and controlling, energy, water, and diesel consumption tracking, and project management.
  • Experience in coordinating with statutory authorities and knowledge of relevant industry standards.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with IFMS agencies, vendors, and internal customers.:
  • Understanding of EHSMPs, risk assessment, and HIRA implementation.
  • Commitment to implementing environmental initiatives.
  • Knowledge of waste reduction initiatives and ensuring proper disposal of E-waste and Hazardous waste.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
