Job Summary:
- Develop, test and deliver high quality software/solutions.
- Provide estimates to Product Owner.
- Review additional product/project deliverables e.g., external & internal specifications and user documentation.
- Create and review unit/component integration test plans and scripts, execute tests, analyze and report on the results.
- Participate in code reviews/inspections.
- Research and resolve customer / project reported problems.
- Previous card payments experience and knowledge to our networks such as VISA, Mastercard, Discover etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
- 3+ years software development experience.
- Willingness to learn, both old and new technologies, to solve problems and take the product in new directions
- An attitude to take on challenges
- Able to collaborate with a highly collaborative team
- Good oral and written communication skills are required, including the ability to interface well with others
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are required
- Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required
- Should be self-motivated and capable of working independently
Experience with:
- Must know how to code in COBOL.
- Good experience using the mainframe platform.
- Good experience using Linux or Unix platforms.
- Unix shell scripting. Excellent Debugging skills
- Git/Svn/Synergy
Good to have skills:
- Experience with the ACI Issuer product.
- Experience in the payment industry (preferably in clearing and settlement).
- Good experience in cloud computing (preferably Azure).
- Experience in adding automation to a product/progress.
- Oracle experience would be good.
- Perl scripting.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in developing card payments software solutions including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, JCB, etc.
- Business knowledge about card payments industry is a plus.
- Work Experience in Agile Methodology would be preferable.
