The Information Security Software Engineering (ISE) Group is responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated software solutions to safeguard GoDaddy's ecosystem. We are seeking a dedicated Principal Software Engineer with a strong background in software development and a keen focus on security. The ideal candidate will have in software development, with a proven track record of working with the latest software technologies while prioritising security best practices.

- You will partner deeply across subject areas as well as across teams to help deliver results that delight our partners, learning constantly while solving tough technical challenges
- You will get to work with some of the greatest talent to build secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant microservices-based platform deployed on the AWS cloud, using the newest technology stack
- You will collaborate with other specialists, product managers, architects, and the operations team, both within and outside of the Infosec group
Your experience should include…
- 8+ years of Validated working experience in large scale system architecting, design, development, testing, and release, including but not limited to microservices in layers, database design, API design, performance tuning, telemetry design and analysis
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Golang
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools such as ElasticAPM
- Proven experience of leading big initiatives spanning multiple teams and organisations and demonstrating deep domain expertise to influence product roadmap
- Strong understanding of security principles and standard methodologies
- Experience in leading a team of engineers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
