The role reports to Research Team Manager and is located in Memphis, Tennessee.

Your responsibilities

  • Under supervision of manager or engineer perform less complex engineering assignments associated with various engineering activities. Monitor progress, comply with quality, schedule requirements, and maintain detailed logs and records
  • Use computer programs to perform various engineering operations, conduct analyses and provide related data and information. Compile and assimilate data from various sources, conduct relatively routine operations and tests, prepare reports, and develop graphics for presentations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine problems and assist in resolving more complex issues

Your background

  • Progressing toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical Engineering (EE)) with at least 2 years completed
  • Completed a course in 3D modeling
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Available to work up to 40 hrs./wk. during summer
  • PTC ProE/Creo CAD experience
  • Good communication skills, quick learner, self-motivated
