We have a compelling opportunity for a highly motivated Executive Assistant with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry. It’s an exciting role which is offered on a full-time basis in Canberra for an initial contract of 12 months, with possibility for extension.

As an executive assistant, your experience in business communication will help you to build effective relationships with important stakeholders and senior leaders. You'll have autonomy and clear responsibilities, working in our friendly, collaborative environment. Your talents will be respected, and you'll be supported in developing the career path you choose.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and manage comprehensive diaries, including travel and accommodation
  • Expense processing, adhering to firm deadlines
  • Meeting scheduling and logistics, including catering and meeting room reservations
  • Assistance with Event Management coordination and logistics
  • Prepare and revise documents including presentations, emails, reports and agendas
  • Provide high level support to a group of Partners and Executives
  • Screening emails, responding and/or actioning as required

  • Australian Citizenship - given this position works with Government clients and may require an Australian Government security clearance
  • A minimum of 2+ years previous EA experience, supporting executives in a corporate environment.
  • Prior working experience in global professional services organization or mid-tier firms will be highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suites
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills including telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • A strong team member with an ability to work across multiple teams with a sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters
