Job purpose:

This position will work within our user experience horizontal on our Design System and Accessibility Team. As part of this team, you will collaborate with internal product teams to help drive the use of our Design System to develop web and mobile application user interfaces and experiences. You will also assist in efforts to ensure our technology is digital accessible in accordance with WCAG AA 2.1 standards.

Key job responsibilities include the following:

• Use your expertise to translate business and technical requirements into design interaction flows and wireframes for web and mobile application experiences
• Projects range from customer-facing websites and mobile apps to internal, employee-facing tools
• Create prototypes to validate designs and improve the user experience of new and existing products
• Collaborate with teammates and internal stakeholders to help guide teams to utilize our design system and guidelines for developing new services and functionality
• Successfully work with developers, project managers, and other internal teams to optimize processes for user-centered design thinking
• Present mock-ups, wire-frames, concepts, prototypes and final designs to stakeholders and internal teams
• Work on several projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Ability to innovate and visualize simple, intuitive experiences based on complex requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates and status to the management
• Ability to design user-experiences from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity visuals
• Ability to communicate detailed design specs to internal teams

Education/Background:

College coursework: B.Des / B.E / B.Tech

Key Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design and/or any industry recognized UI/UX professional certification
• 2-3 years of experience as a UX/UI designer
• A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered product design solutions
• Demonstrated experience of working on Design Systems in the past
• An innate capacity for creating engaging, highly usable designs and layouts
• Ability to quickly turn around mockups in a very agile, fast-paced environment and comfortable working on designs without all the product details
• Experience working with Figma or any other equivalent UX design tools
• Preferrable but not required: experience working with ZeroHeight
