Job Description

Working in Ecolab’s Healthcare division and based in Brisbane, we are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to join our high-growth, innovation, and market leading business unit covering Queensland. We provide service, equipment and consumable solutions across a wide variety of healthcare areas including Infection Control, Endoscopy, Central Sterilising and Operating Theatres.

Liaising closely with our clients, you will be the subject matter expert supporting our CSSD related products.

In this position, you will be directly responsible for retaining and growing accounts.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Manage customer base and build relationships through professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills and product knowledge
  • Introduce new product offerings to existing customers
  • Partner with customers to implement best practice processes
  • Provide outstanding customer service, educate customers on ways to improve their patient outcomes and be relied upon as a specialist
  • Apply training to service and trouble-shoot related equipment
  • Demonstrate the use/application of our products in customer facilities
  • Travel within Queensland, including the occasional overnight stay.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build, maintain and retain relationships
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation capabilities
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to solving challenges to exceed client expectations
  • Be a self-starter with a positive desire to succeed
  • Ability to work cross functionally across a diverse company

Technically, You Will Preferably Have The Following

  • Proven background in Account Management
  • Ability to work at all levels
  • Experience working within the Healthcare industry with a strong understanding of the Medical Devices market, along with prior CSSD experience is preferred
  • A full unrestricted driver’s license

The role offers a high degree of autonomy and will suit a professional, well organised self-starter.
