Essential Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Partner with key stakeholders in finance functions to support business process improvements and productivity targets of GE Hydro
Lead the design, development, deployment, support and maintenance of systems, for finance functions
Manage the application portfolio for finance domains driving diferenciation, optimization and standardization cross regions
Be technology advisor to the business and promote DT standards
Manage internal and external suppliers to deliver IT services according existing SLA´s, and to deliver projects according agreed level of quality, cost and time.
Lead DT projects delivery engaging business stakeholders and guarantee coverage for business requirements
Provide good and frequent communication on projects/services status for business leaders, and pro-actively take actions to mitigate the risks
Continuously look for cost optimization opportunities on DT solutions and services to reduce TCO
Collaboration across company’s businesses and other DT functions to maximize the value delivered to GE Hydro

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business finance, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
Overall experience – Ideally between 7-10 years with Minimum of 5 years in SAP FICO modules – GL, AP, AA, AR, FSCM, TB, P&L , Month End Reporting etc. It could be Key User/Super User/Consulting background preferably in CPG/Energy with understanding of working in the Project environment.
A minimum of 3 years of IT program and product management/Application Implementation & Support/Business partnering experience in IT finance function, collaborating in a global, matrixed environment.
Strong and broad business processes expertise in finance function and applications including SAP FICO
Experience with digital solutions and products used for finance function
Experience in project management methodologies and IT services management processes
