Duties & Responsibilities
Own the strategy, execution, and tracking of SEO across Google, Bing, and AI platforms to drive marketing performance in line with budget and goals
Includes all site content as well as backlinks
Track performance on a weekly and monthly basis and make adjustments to improve target KPIs
Partner with internal teams (e.g. Creative, Analytics, Growth Product, Engineering) to effectively drive all aspects of SEO and content
Manage client partner relationships
Run analyses on channel performance and implement findings quickly
Demonstrate thought leadership by developing and implementing strategies and sharing the results with leadership
Function as the expert across SEO and stay up to date on industry/competitive trends and technologies, and best practices
Qualifications & Skills
Proven track record of success in-house at a high growth direct response B2C start-up. Fintech or Insuretech preferred.
A deep knowledge of the SEO landscape
Ability to work autonomously, learn quickly, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment (ideally, experienced in startup companies).
A minimum of 5 years of experience of marketing experience with 3+ years managing SEO at a high growth company where user acquisition was critical to the company’s growth
Excited by the chance to both develop a marketing strategy and hands on optimization
Experience working directly with engineering and product teams to implement SEO recommendations
