In this role, you will:

Focus on general trade and retail consumer engagement & development through existing channel partners and appoint new channel partners for business expansion.
Managing relationships with existing customers and effectively positioning the entire retail portfolio range to gain maximum shelf share and ensure always-stock availability.
Engage with local sales teams of national distributors and other channel partners to develop joint business plans and execute them.
Work closely with other functions, stakeholders, and leadership teams for business planning, execution of set goals, and compliance with company policies and requirements as appropriate.
Negotiate agreements and manage account activities, including pricing, promotions, inventory, and partner marketing.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and optimize channel performance.
Collaborate with marketing and category teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and product placements.
Provide regular reports on channel performance and market insights on a weekly basis.
Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to adjust go-to-market strategies accordingly.

Key Qualifications and Competencies:

We are searching for a result-oriented individual with a broad cross-section of skills, which should encompass the following skills and behaviors:

A minimum of 10+ years of channel and retail experience in the IT hardware or electronics industry. Candidates with local experience will receive preference.
An MBA degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills in English

He possesses solid business acumen and the ability to present, negotiate, and build rapport with customers and partners.

Results-driven and discerning with regards to priorities.
Deep knowledge of current trends and sales practices in the general trade and retail industry, especially in IT hardware and consumer electronics.
Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
