We are the People Solutions Team, a diverse and international team of people heroes driving all employee lifecycle topics for the HRS Group. We love to make it happen for our tribe of intrapreneurs and always think from the customer when developing new HR products.

POSITION

We are looking for a Chandigarh based HR Data Engineer (all genders) who will drive our SAP SuccessFactors agenda and pushes process automation as an integrated part of the People Solutions Team.

CHALLENGE

Design, implement and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL
Capture business requirements to develop and implement data models that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics needs.
Collaborating with Product team and analytics experts to develop new data services, resolve dependencies and to ensure data structures meet requirements
Ensuring stable operation of Data Platform despite constant development by applying DevOps approaches
Responsible for the continuous monitoring, troubleshooting and proactive improvement of data connections and system performance.
Spot data quality gaps and develop plan to close those gaps

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

Completed studies in (business) informatics, data science/engineering, mathematics or a comparable qualification
Min. 3 years of related experience as Data Engineer, Data Architect and /or Business Intelligence Developer
Experience in designing and building data pipelines for ETL/ELT and maintaining APIs
Good understanding of data warehousing principles and processes supporting data transformation and data structures
Practical expertise in database engineering and data model design, ideally SQL.
Programming experience in Python, R and experience with common reporting tools
Profound knowledge in requirements gathering and writing Functional and Technical designs
High interest in multi-cloud environments
Responsible and team-oriented personality as well as high motivation to familiarize yourself with new topics
You have a hands-on mentality to solve complex issues
A structured, analytical, independent and goal-oriented working style
You have an ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse stakeholders in English and ideally in German
And last but not least, the ambition and interest to grow in a strong and international team
