About You

You have relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or other relevant field and/or relevant experience in human resources or business management in a large or complex organisation.
You have demonstrated success in ad-hoc and bulk recruitment, selection and onboarding in a large workforce environment.
You have demonstrated superior organisational skills and experience working in a demanding environment with capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer service approach.

Where you'll be working

The Recruitment & Retention Team Leader role is based at Gosford Hospital, however, availability for duties across all facilities within Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is a requirement of the position.

The purpose of the role is to manage all matters relating to the recruitment, selection, onboarding and retention of junior medical officers at CCLHD. Coordinating the annual JMO recruitment program and managing ad-hoc JMO recruitment throughout the year. Managing all relevant processes and procedures, which include immigration and AHPRA processes for overseas trained junior medical officers. This involves liaising with medical staff, agencies, applicants and CCLHD management.

The Team Leader will supervise a Medical Workforce Coordinator and Recruitment Officers plus other staff at peak work periods or projects, providing support, direction and feedback to the JMO Workforce and Recruitment team members and facilitate delivery of quality outcomes. The position will also provide expert knowledge and advice on medical workforce issues to the wider hospital workforce and implement process and system improvement.

The position is required to work closely with multiple stakeholders for implementing strategic initiatives designed to maintain and improve JMO and medical workforce functions with an emphasis on customer focused services.
